The Nautical Club of Thessaloniki announces the National Offshore Sailing Championship 2013 and the international sailing event "North Aegean Cup", to be held from Saturday August 24 until Thursday August 29 2013, for boats with ORCi, IRC and ORC Club rating certificates(*).
* ORC Club certificates participate only in North Aegean Cup
The races will take place in Toroneos Gulf and the North Aegean. The start ceremony and the skippers' meeting will take place in Skopelos island, which will be the start of the first race with destination Porto Carras resort in Chalkidiki, which will host the headquarters of the event. The participating boats will berth in Porto Carras marina.
The race program includes a long and a short offshore race, controlled course races (windward-leeward, triangle) as well as inshore races in Toroneos gulf.
The National Championship is organized jointly by the Nautical Club of Thessaloniki and the Offshore Committee of the Hellenic Sailing Federation.
